I recently joined the cross-country course at Condor Air Sports Paragliding School, and I had an incredible experience.

This area offers vast and varied terrain suitable for everyone from cross-country beginners to advanced pilots. The weather conditions are consistently flyable almost every day, which makes it a perfect destination for XC enthusiasts.

Dora, who leads the cross-country program, has deep local knowledge and puts together thoughtful and appropriate tasks based on the conditions each day. His guidance was both professional and encouraging.

Çameli is only a two-hour bus ride from Fethiye, making it easily accessible. There are great restaurants nearby—convenient and delicious.

If you’re flying with a pod harness in Ölüdeniz, I highly recommend making a stop in Çameli. It’s truly worth it.

Condor Air Sports Paragliding Schoolでクロスカントリーコースに参加しましたが、本当に最高の体験でした。

このエリアはとにかく広くて、ビギナーからエキスパートまで楽しめます。天気も安定していて、ほぼ毎日飛べるのが魅力です。

クロスカントリーのリーダーをしているDoraは、この地域のことをとてもよく知っていて、その日のコンディションに合わせてぴったりのタスクを組んでくれます。安心して飛べるように丁寧にサポートしてくれるので、初めてでも安心です。

Çameliはフェティエからバスで2時間ほどとアクセスもよく、周りに美味しいレストランもたくさんあって滞在中も快適でした。

Being a paramotor pilot who also paraglides, my goal going into this class was to learn collapse recovery.   Over the course of four days we progressed quickly from working on fundamental piloting skills to more intense collapses.  The entire time Dora is in your ear calmly explaining what was done right and what could be done better.  The altitude in Oludeniz gives one several opportunities to repeat collapse exercises or maneuvers so that it becomes a reflex.  What impressed me most was Dora’s ability to tailor the class to each student and their equipment so everyone was challenged regardless of skill level.  On top of all that after class each day, students can do sunset flights that can only be described as stunning.  I highly recommend training with Condor.

O SIV realizado com o Dora, instrutor experiente e profissional, com um vasto conhecimento sobre todo o tipo de incidentes de voo, é uma experiência fundamental para a evolução de qualquer piloto. Através destas formações, os pilotos aprendem a lidar com situações extremas e a desenvolver competências essenciais para a segurança no voo. Além disso, o curso vai além das manobras técnicas, promovendo uma sensibilização importante sobre os riscos e comportamentos da asa em diversas condições de voo. I did my first SIV this week from April 8th to 11th and met an excellent pilot, instructor and friend.
Although I have been flying for a few years, I always felt the need to do an SIV and kept putting it off... maybe due to lack of time (because of work) and some fear lolol.
But I advise all paragliding pilots to do an SIV course as soon as possible and they will certainly want to do a second and a third.
I did my first SIV with Dora and I do not regret it and I will want to go back to do another SIV with him.
When you meet him, you immediately realize that he has experience and that he knows what he is teaching. And he does it in a calm, clear and understandable way.
Congratulations Dora for your work and dedication to paragliding in passing on your knowledge to pilots who want to fly more safely.

J’ai réalisé une journée de SIV avec Dora qui c’est rendu disponible et très réactif en cette période de basse saison.
Il c’est adapté très vite et à su me donner des explications claires et précises pour mon objectif qui était de me débloquer cette barrière mental du fullstall. J’ai réussi à en faire plusieurs guider par radio grâce à ces précieux conseils.
