I did my first SIV this week from April 8th to 11th and met an excellent pilot, instructor and friend. Although I have been flying for a few years, I always felt the need to do an SIV and kept putting it off... maybe due to lack of time (because of work) and some fear lolol. But I advise all paragliding pilots to do an SIV course as soon as possible and they will certainly want to do a second and a third. I did my first SIV with Dora and I do not regret it and I will want to go back to do another SIV with him. When you meet him, you immediately realize that he has experience and that he knows what he is teaching. And he does it in a calm, clear and understandable way. I was referred to Dora for SIV from a previous student while I was in North Macedonia, and I'm so glad I was. His instruction is always clear and very relaxed - even when something was going not-so-right it's good to not have someone shouting in your ear, but giving your clear instructions. He was very supportive in both theoretical and practical lessons, and he paid close attention to my safety at every stage. The course content was well-balanced and suited all skill levels.
