Description
The goal of this course is to give you the skills, confidence, and safety awareness to launch, fly, and land a paraglider in controlled conditions. You’ll learn on gentle slopes and safe training sites, using modern school equipment and under direct radio supervision.
We combine practical flying sessions with theory lessons on meteorology, flight planning, and safety procedures. Our low student–instructor ratio means you’ll get plenty of personalized feedback, making your learning efficient and enjoyable.
Our ultimate goal at Condor Air Sports is to give you your first solo flights in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.
Who this course is for
- This course is for complete beginners — no prior experience is required.
- If you’ve flown a tandem before, it’s the perfect next step to learn how to pilot yourself.
- Minimum age: 16 (under-18s require parental consent)
The flying site(s)
Just 3 km from our school is our dedicated training hill, with gentle slopes, wide landing zones, and calm morning conditions. It is the perfect setting for your first solo flights under radio guidance. Ground-handling sessions take place on the local football field, where consistent smooth winds and artificial grass make for comfortable, efficient practice.
By the end of the course, you’ll complete a high-altitude flight in gentle morning air, either in Çameli or Ölüdeniz, depending on conditions.
Thanks to Çameli’s reliable weather, scenic landscapes, and excellent infrastructure, it’s an outstanding training environment — and an unforgettable first-flight location — for every level of pilot.
Accommodation
Condor Air Sports Paragliding School has a in-house hostel with bunk beds for up to 10 people, and that it’s offered free of charge for pilots attending the tour. This is a great option for pilots who are looking to keep their costs down and who want to be close to the action.
For pilots who are looking for a more luxurious and comfortable stay, the Stone Lodges Hotel, which is located right next to the school, offers private rooms that are available for those who want more privacy or who are looking to share a room with a friend or partner.
